Chubb Management Efficiency

The company has Return on Asset (ROA) of 0.0275 % which means that for every $100 of assets, it generated a profit of $0.0275. This is way below average. Likewise, it shows a return on total equity (ROE) of 0.1579 %, which means that it produced $0.1579 on every 100 dollars invested by current stockholders. Chubb's management efficiency ratios could be used to measure how well Chubb manages its routine affairs as well as how well it operates its assets and liabilities. As of March 28, 2024, Return On Capital Employed is expected to decline to 0.05. In addition to that, Return On Assets is expected to decline to 0.03. At present, Chubb's Total Assets are projected to increase significantly based on the last few years of reporting. The current year's Total Current Assets is expected to grow to about 51.1 B, whereas Other Assets are projected to grow to (57.1 B).
The company reports 18.47 B of total liabilities with total debt to equity ratio (D/E) of 0.43, which is normal for its line of buisiness. Chubb has a current ratio of 0.36, implying that it has not enough working capital to pay out debt commitments in time. Debt can assist Chubb until it has trouble settling it off, either with new capital or with free cash flow. So, Chubb's shareholders could walk away with nothing if the company can't fulfill its legal obligations to repay debt. However, a more frequent occurrence is when companies like Chubb sell additional shares at bargain prices, diluting existing shareholders. Debt, in this case, can be an excellent and much better tool for Chubb to invest in growth at high rates of return. When we think about Chubb's use of debt, we should always consider it together with cash and equity.
