Ms. Nalan Erkarakas is performing as NonExecutive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Park Elektrik Uretim Madencilik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS. Ms. Erkarakas performed as General Manager and Chairman of various financial institutions from 1991, until she joined Park Holding A.S. in 2001 as Capital Markets Group President, a post she still holds. She was performing as Chairman and Board Member of various Ciner Group companies since 2001. Ms. Karakas is also Member of TUGIAD, Borsa Araci Kurumlar Yoneticileri Dernegi, Mulkiyet Birligi, Ankara Universitesi Siyasi Bilimler Fakultesi Mezunlari Birligi, Araci Kurumlar Birligi, Turkiye Kurumsal Yonetim Dernegi and KOTEDER. She received The Entrepreneur of the Year award from the Young Entrepreneurs Association in 1997, and the Businesswoman of the Year award from Dunya Gazetesi in 2000. Ms. Karakas graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences of Ankara Universitesi with a degree in Economics in 1983.
