Mr. Robert R. McMaster serves as Independent Chairman of the Board of the Company. Mr. McMaster has served on our Board of Directors since November 2006 and as our Chairman of the Board since February 2016. Mr. McMaster served as our Lead Independent Director from November 2012 until he was named Chairman of the Board. Mr. McMaster was a director of Carpenter Technology Corporationrationration, a NYSE listed manufacturer and distributor of specialty metals, since 2007, where he currently serves as a member of its audit and strategy committees. Mr. McMaster is also chairman of the audit committee of The Columbus Foundation, a charitable trust and nonprofit corporation. From May 2003 until June 2006, Mr. McMaster served as a director of American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. and as chairman of its audit committee and a member of its compensation committee. Mr. McMaster was a director and a member of the audit and compensation committees of Dominion Homes, Inc. from May 2006 to May 2008. From January 2003 until February 2005, Mr. McMaster served as Chief Executive Officer of ASP Westward, LLC and ASP Westward, L.P. and from June 1997 until December 2002, Mr. McMaster served as Chief Executive Officer of Westward Communications Holdings, LLC and Westward Communications, L.P since 2016.
