Mr. John M. Hinshaw is Independent Director of the Company. He attended James Madison University where he earned a B.B.A. in Computer Information Systems and Decision Support Sciences in 1992. Mr. Hinshaw served as the Executive Vice President, Technology and Operations, of Hewlett Packard Company from November 2011 to November 2015, at which time he joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company as the Executive Vice President, Technology and Operations and Chief Customer Officer, serving in such capacity until October 2016. Prior to joining HewlettPackard Company, Mr. Hinshaw served as Vice President and General Manager for Boeing Information Solutions at The Boeing Company from 2010 to 2011. Before that, he served as Boeings Chief Information Officer from 2007 to 2010, leading Boeings companywide corporate initiative on information management and information security. Mr. Hinshaw also spent 14 years at Verizon Communications where, among several senior roles of increasing responsibility, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Verizon Wireless, overseeing the IT function of the wireless carrier. Mr. Hinshaws service in these leadership roles with significant public companies in a variety of different industries deeply rooted in technology provided him experience in the operations of large, complex organizations and expertise in both information technology and management, enabling him to effectively oversee Sysco management, especially with regard to the execution of business technology initiatives
