Mr. Gregory L. Werner is Director of the Company. He was elected as a director of the Company in 1994. He served as our Treasurer from 1982 to 1986, became Vice President in 1984, and was promoted to Executive Vice President in 1996. Mr. Werner also began directing revenue equipment maintenance for Werner Enterprises, Inc. and its predecessor in 1981 and became responsible for our management information systems in 1993. Mr. Werner served as our President from April 1997 until May 2011 and as our Chief Operating Officer from 1999 to 2007. Mr. Werner was our Chief Executive Officer from 2007 to August 2015. He was also the Vice Chairman from May 2011 until August 2015. Mr. Werner resigned as an executive officer of the Company effective August 27, 2015. Mr. Werner possesses significant knowledge and a thorough understanding of our business operations and industry, which is attributed to his longterm professional experience with the Company. Because of his past positions as Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Werner also provides the Board with an important insider perspective and managements pointofview about various aspects of our business operations and strategies. Mr. Werner is a son of C.L. Werner and brother of Gary L. Werner. since 2015.
