Previously, he held senior executive positions within the Zegna Group including the U.S., after a retail experience at Bloomingdales, New York. Zegna, the standard of excellence for the entire luxury fashion industry, is a vertically integrated company that covers sourcing wool at the markets of origin, manufacturing, marketing right through directly operated stores. Under the guidance of the fourth generation, the Group expanded its network to 545 stores, of which 310 are fully owned, in over 100 countries. In 2013, Zegna reached consolidated sales of 1.27 billion euro, achieving global leadership in mens luxury wear. The companys success is based on an increasingly widereaching portfolio of products and styles formal, casual and sports apparel, avantgarde lines, shoes, leather accessories, and under licence fragrances, eyewear, underwear and watches. He is also a member of the international advisory board of IESE Business School of Navarra he is board member of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana and of the Council for the United States and Italy. In 2011 he was nominated Cavaliere del Lavoro by the President of the Italian Republic. A graduate in economics from the University of London, Ermenegildo Zegna also studied at the Harvard Business School. since 2014.
