Mr. Scott S. Slater is Independent Director of the Company. He has served as a director of the Company since 2012. He was selected by the California Daily Journal as one of the top 100 lawyers in California. He is presently the Chief Executive Officer and serves on the Board of Directors of Cadiz, Inc., a publiclytraded company that has acquired and is holistically managing and developing indigenous water resources in desert regions in Southern California. Mr. Slater has also served on the Board of Advisors of Water Asset Management since 2006. From 2000 to 2009, he was a board member and chairman of the American Groundwater Trust. since 2012.
