Prior to founding Yelp, Mr. Stoppelman held various engineering roles at PayPal, Inc., an online payment company, from February 2000 to June 2003, most recently serving as Vice President of Engineering. Prior to PayPal, Mr. Stoppelman was a software engineer at ExciteHome, an Internet company, from August 1999 to January 2000. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois. since 2005.
